Autumn is officially here. It was too cold to wear shorts outside. It was cold enough that our small cat Sonny wanted to sleep on the bed. Both Sonny and Rudy would push me off the bed when it's too cold.
It may be fall, but the trees are still green, and they should be. It'll be in the 80's later this week.
Gary was sick most of this week. He had the cold/flu the first part of the week and on Friday, he came down with the stomach flu and was a bit nauseous, but at least he didn't hurl. Mary felt sorry for him. She made chicken soup and invited him over for dinner.
That night, I finally put up the Halloween decorations and Mary selected what she'll serve for the Halloween party as well as prepare the invite that she would mail out. The standard group was invited: Bob, Jim, Rick, Kathy, Dave, Gary, Nii, Albie, Pete, Rich, Brian and Cindy. About half would probably make it. The boys went crazy exploring all the bags and decorations. It was just as good as Christmas for them.
