Today is Chilly's Birthday, and many fans received a red foam paw when they walked in. Chilly likes to celebrate with his mascot buddies. In past games, Chilly invited his IHL or AHL buddies. This year, he invited local mascots. I wish I brought my camera. Junction Jack the Astros' rabbit mascot attended as well as the Masmati rice genie and the GEICO Gecko who still looks like a lizard to me. There was some weird bird as well. Shasta the UH cougar mascot tried zamboni surfing. Clutch the Rocket's bear mascot made a grand entrance by shooting red and white streamers into the stands. We didn't see the Texans mascot who did come to previous parties. During the break, they had a birthday cake for Chilly complete with a large bone on top.
