Tonight we saw Celtic Woman at the Jones Hall. It was my Valentine gift to Mary. We enjoyed their Christmas Special on PBS. An ex co-worker of mine had gone to one of their concerts and recommended it highly as well. Instead of doing dinner on Valentine's Day, we went to Kemah today and everyone in Houston did as well. The overflow parking was closed ,and no parking was to be had. I tried Pappa's Italian but they were closed on Sundays. Gringos has a 25 minute wait as did Joe's. We ended up at a Chinese Buffet.
Fortunately, the concert was excellent. Nothing like pretty women who sing nice. It made me hungry for a good renfest which was interesting. As we were exiting the concert hall, I could hear "Wild Rover" being played in the background.
