Miss Kitty

Every year, Mary flies home to celebrate Christmas while I spend every other Christmas there. This is my year to fly to the East Coast. It's always a lot of fun visiting the Matuszko's especially all of the nephews and nieces.

When we arrive at Hobby, the line for Southwest winds halfway through the building, but someone is redirecting people who have an upcoming departure time to faster lines. We are kept in the "slow" line, but we make our flight in time. We even get seats together.

We arrive at BWI and take a shuttle to the parking garage. I don't like the shuttle. They pack as many as they can into the shuttle before closing the door.

We drive past Goddard and have lunch at a Ruby Tuesdays just nearby. What better place than in Maryland which is known for it's blue crabs. So we both have their crab cake sandwiches which were excellent. When my family lived in Norfolk, we used to crab all the time, and I got sick and tired of it. It's amazing what you take for granted.

When we arrive at the Matuszko's, Miss Kitty their new cat (about 2 years now) greets us at our room downstairs and snoops around -- probably sniffing all the messages the boys left behind when they rubbed the luggage. Speaking of luggage, TSA inspected my check-in luggage. There's nothing in it. Everything is in my carryon.
