Our first stop is at the village of Luss which is next to a Loch Lomond. In case, you didn't know "loch" means lake. The owners of the houses had small colorful gardens like you would see in a Thomas Kinkade Master Painter of Light painting. Too bad the houses weren't quaint cottages to complete the illusion.
At the wooden pedestrian bridge, I see a couple setting up a small tripod on the railing for a shot. I volunteer to take the photo for them.
At one point I try to break into a run to catch up with the girls. Big mistake. I may be able to walk, but the right calf cramps up almost immediately so I'm back to hobbling. Stretching helps a bit.
We explore the cemetery of small church. A Viking is buried beneath a small mound.
