I am facilitating a class for an astronaut. A facilitator records any unanswered questions or suggestion. I arrive early, and the instructor mistakens me for her student. I guess it's because I am wearing my NASA 50th anniversary T-shirt. I usually wear that or a Hawaiian shirt on Fridays.
The instructor is from Alabama and has a thick Southern accent while her student is from the Netherlands and has an accent of his own. At one point, she points out the nine volt back up battery. Nein volts? he asks. "Nein" means "no." I almost crack up since it's similar to a scene in the movie "The Cutting Edge."
PAO(Public Affair Office) shows up. They take some stills with an EOS 1 and some digital
video. I don't think I'm in any of the shots.
