Wed Dec 27, 2006 The Supreme Court & The Library of Congress

We make our way past the Capitol.

And arrive at the Supreme Court Building.

The view from the top of the stairs .

The Supreme Court Building has its own Christmas tree.

I am assuming this is the chamber where they deliberate.

Chief Justice Marshall

Just across the street is the Library of Congress. It's not as big as I imagined. I wonder how they keep a copy of every book. I guess everything is digital now.

The statues at the foot of the building.

For very conservative people at the time, they have some hot looking statues.

The Capitol from the front. A line of people with reservations are waiting to get in. I noticed that both the Supreme Court and the Capitol has their own police force.
